We have an older dishwasher and it needed a new pump. He was able to find the part and come back in a few days. Now it’s working great.Posted on Christopher KenneyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had an issue with my oven not sparking and they were able to come out and fix it same day. Took them about 30 minutes and they were great to work with. Would recommend to anyone!Posted on Elizabeth KerrTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a great experience with the technician who came out to repair my microwave and dryer. He was punctual, professional, and very knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the issues with both appliances and explained everything clearly. It’s not always easy to find someone reliable and skilled, but this technician exceeded our expectations. I would definitely recommend his services to anyone in need of appliance repair.Posted on David Taylor-SmithTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Andrew helped us with a repair to our microwave that was running but not heating the food. The first repair visit he replaced the typical components that show the symptoms we were seeing when they fail, but that did not fix the issue. He spent time researching what it may be and came back 2 days later and was able to fix the issue. I love the fact that they don't just settle for the easy answer. After the first attempt he could easily have just said we need a new microwave. But they kept at it and we ended up with a result that was much better. I will go back to Spark Appliance Repair if my other appliances have issues.Posted on Jeff LindTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Six failures Yurii and the Spark team diagnose most weeks across San Diego County. Each has a typical cost range and a known playbook — we quote flat-rate before any part is ordered.
Warm fridge, food at risk — usually dirty condenser coils, a failed evaporator fan, or a stuck damper. Sealed-system failures (refrigerant, compressor) require EPA 608 Type I certification. Yurii holds Type I. Most non-sealed fixes: $150–$320.
Standing water in the drum after cycle — clogged drain pump filter (free DIY), kinked drain hose, or a failed pump motor. We carry pumps for Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, Maytag, and GE front-loaders. Pump replacement: $180–$280.
Drum spins, air stays cold — on electric dryers, the thermal fuse or heating element. On gas dryers, the igniter or valve coils. A clogged vent causes most overheating failures. Thermal fuse + root-cause diagnosis: $120–$200.
Oven takes 20+ minutes to reach 350°F, or won't light at all — the igniter is the most common gas-oven wear part. A weak igniter is a safety issue (gas accumulation before flame catches). Replacement with labor: $220–$380.
Bosch E15 = water in the base pan (leak sensor trigger), commonly from a loose door gasket or cracked sump housing. Samsung LE / 4E codes signal similar leak detection. Gasket + diagnostic: $140–$260.
No ice after 24 hours — first check is the water filter (6-month replacement most homeowners forget). Next: frozen water line, failed inlet valve, or ice maker module. Filter: $30–$70 DIY. Module replacement: $220–$420.
